What can you do for oily face and hair?

I wash my hair everyday, sometimes twice a day, and I usually use conditioner. Is conditioner the problem for oily hair/scalp? But wouldn't your hair become dry if you stop using it? What about oily facial skin? Some washes leave an oily resedue also.

If you wash your hair everyday, it causes oily hair.. but if you wash it too little, it also causes oily hair. Wash your hair every OTHER day. It is best if you limit your use of conditioner because it does make your hair oily if you don't wash it all off. Use a quarter size amount of conditioner and work your way up from the ends of your hair. If you put it on the roots of your hair, it will just make your scalp flaky and dry. When using shampoo, rub you scalp only .. the shampoo will run down yuour hair when you wash it/ Oily faces causes acne.. so I would suggest you buy oil blotting papers (clean and clear)... they sell them everywhere. Bring face wipes if you can to work/school...

Do you condition twice a day?? If yes then that's most probably the cause of oiliness. Condition only once a day, and apply it only to the ends of your hair, and not on the roots.

As for an oily face, keep a pack of oil control paper within reach so you can get rid of the shine any time of the day. Oh, and I've read somewhere that having oily skin can be beneficial; it makes you look younger when you age, so don't worry too much about it.

ok, condition only once every other day, and shampoo everyday. i think they have stuff for oily hair. and for your face, u can use foundation to cover it up and oil reducing stuff. u can find it almost anywhere.
