My daughters (ages 12 %26amp; 13) are interested in LHR for the upper lip area. Already, they are waxing frequently and would like to permanently remove the hair. With all the news lately on burning and scarring, I'm quite concerned.
What should I look for in a treatment facility? What questions should I ask? What are the steps in the treatment and how many visits will it take? Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Their safety is first but I also want them to feel confident in their maturing bodies. If removing facial hair will help, I'm willing to do it.
Laser Hair Removal Suggestions?
Try buying a laser hair removal devises. They're quite expensive (about 鎷?0-鎷?00 i think) but you can use them yourself as much as you like. However it does take quite a while (few months) to see results and takes longer not doing it professionally. It takes a long time to completely remove the hair but it makes them significantly lighter and not so thick etc (i tried this on my bikini line and it works but still not permanently hair free yet). Or you could bleach the hairs on the top lip so they don;t show as much??
Laser Hair Removal Suggestions?
Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods. Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful. Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.
